Each battery variant is widely available and easy to replace if necessary. The lifespan of the batteries varies but is usually at least one year. Extremes in temperature affect their lifespan.

Any FOBO product is not reusable if stolen. Each product is linked to one person and his or her In-Car tension meter. The FOBO valve sensors are also equipped with an anti-theft nut.

Yes. You only need to use the FOBO app during installation. After this, the In-Car voltage meter is sufficient if the smartphone is not taken along.

FOBO has developed its products to perform under extreme climates. It has been tested against water (IP57) and can withstand heavy impacts (350N). All this contributes to being able to rely on FOBO for long periods of time.

If you decide to change the position of the tires, you can easily reset the system via the app to rearrange the correct location. Simply walk around the car with your smartphone and always hold it against the relevant valve sensor. This works the same as during installation.

Of course. The In-Car voltage meter always works, even without a smartphone. In addition, you can add up to 100 people to your account via email invitation. This new user is then added to our FOBO cloud, linked to your system, via Crosspair technology. As soon as he/she gets into your car and starts the app, he/she will have access to your FOBO product.

All our FOBO products run on Bluetooth 4.0 and 5.0. Normally the range is 10 to 30 meters in a clear view, without obstacles.

Yes. The valve sensors continue to monitor the tire pressure 24/7. When you get in, open the FOBO app and you will immediately see the current tire pressure. If you do not bring a smartphone, you can also immediately consult the In-Car voltage meter to see whether everything is in order.

The weight per valve sensor is 7.6 grams (FOBO Tire 2) or 10 grams (other FOBO TPMS solutions). Extensive tests have shown that there is a maximum deviation of 5 grams, measured on the balancing machine. This is acceptable and in 99% of cases will not cause any problems during use.

No. The valve sensors are activated when pressure is applied to them. This is continuous, unless your tires are completely deflated or the sensors are not attached to your valves. The In-Car pressure gauge continuously measures the tire pressure, or if you are within a maximum of 30 meters of your vehicle, you can check this using your smartphone and the FOBO app.

When the valve sensors are attached, they will automatically detect the pressure difference and immediately go into Pairing Mode. So you don't have to do anything for this, it happens automatically.

We always recommend that you first switch your Bluetooth on and off if problems arise. If this does not work, reinstall the FOBO app and follow the installation procedure again. If necessary, you can reset the sensor by removing the battery for more than 10 seconds and reinserting or replacing it. If it still does not work properly after these steps, we ask you to contact us. It is very rare for a sensor to be defective, but anything can happen. We will solve this for you.

Yes. The internal software in the valve sensors is so advanced that it measures the absolute tire pressure. It therefore not only measures the deviation from what you entered as ideal, but also the absolute tire pressure.

The 4G network is currently also used by LTE (e.g. digital television). This often causes disruptions worldwide. To prevent this during installation, it is advisable to disable 4G and switch to 3G. This can easily be set via your telephone. Don't forget to activate the 4G again after installation.
